Tianqi Constellation Phase II Construction Plan Disclosure: 48+Satellites to be Launched, Network to be Completed by 2028

On June 1st, the Beijing Satellite IoT Industry Development Conference was held in Beijing. At the conference, Lv Qiang, Chairman of Beijing Guodian High tech Technology Co., Ltd., released the current status and future plans of the "Tianqi Constellation" construction. Guodian High tech is laying out the second phase of Tianqi Constellation. Lv Qiang revealed that the number of satellites in the second phase will increase to 48+, with a 6-fold increase in single satellite capacity and an increase in satellite weight from 50 kilograms to 360 kilograms, achieving seamless global coverage. We expect the launch of the second phase satellite to begin at the end of this year and plan to complete the entire network by 2028, "said Lv Qiang.
