China Mobile's Qiu Baohua: Will invest billions of token ecosystem resources in the next 3-5 years

At the 2026 Mobile Cloud Conference, Qiu Baohua, General Manager of China Mobile's Market Operation Department, said that in the future, China Mobile will carry out four major actions around building a Token operation system, namely, Token convergence action, platform foundation building action, consumption activation action, and value win-win action. Recently, China Mobile will focus on deep cooperation in large models and create a high-quality token supply matrix. The core will be achieved through three paths: first, direct access to closed source models, and by connecting with industry leading large models, quickly enriching model supply and meeting diverse user call needs; Secondly, open source models have their own deployment, relying on their own computing power to deploy and optimize open source models, and strengthening their independent and controllable model supply capabilities; The third is the collaborative construction of high-quality models, deploying high-quality closed source models with joint manufacturers, deeply adapting to customized product requirements, and consolidating the core capability foundation for efficient token production. In the next 3-5 years, China Mobile will invest billions of token ecosystem resources, build billions of computing power infrastructure, and work together to create trillions of AI industry value.
