On February 6th at midnight, the entire reconstruction and expansion project of the Beijing Hong Kong Macau Expressway from the Hubei Henan border to Junshan was opened to traffic. This project is a key national project during the 14th Five Year Plan period, with a total length of 157.79 kilometers, starting from Jiuliguan in Dawu County and ending at the Wuhan West Hub Interchange. This opening marks the first time in China that digital twin highways and physical highways have achieved synchronous "dual delivery". The project utilizes array gratings and the "Beijing Hong Kong Macao Smart Brain" to detect abnormal situations such as congestion and accidents in real time. Through digital twin technology, the entire line has synchronized "digital avatars" operating in virtual space. The system can capture and locate within 3 seconds after an accident occurs, automatically trigger emergency plans, and improve the overall efficiency of emergency response by more than 30%.
