On February 6th, SenseTime officially opened source the new SenseNova SI-1.3 space intelligence model, which has shown significant improvements in core tasks such as space measurement, perspective conversion, and comprehensive reasoning. In addition, compared to the previous version, it has enhanced the ability to answer short answer questions. On the comprehensive evaluation platform EASI, which integrates multiple authoritative spatial intelligence rankings, SenseNova SI-1.3 outperforms Gemini-3 Pro in overall performance and achieves first place in the EASI-8 (a mixed evaluation of eight authoritative spatial intelligence rankings) standard on average. It performs excellently in multiple difficult spatial tasks, especially in perspective switching. The large-scale and high-quality spatial intelligence data finally validated the scale effect of spatial intelligence in the hands of the SenseNova SI team: SenseNova SI's 8B parameter based model ultimately surpassed strong closed source models such as GPT-5, while the 2B parameter small model also performed well, even surpassing the Cambrian-S and Byte VST models with 7B parameters from New York University at the same data scale.
