On July 29th, Wuhan Institute of Surveying and Mapping, together with DJI Industry Application, released the results of the construction of the "Urban Smart Eye" low altitude unmanned aerial vehicle remote sensing monitoring system. At present, Wuhan has built 146 unmanned airports, basically achieving a 5-minute unmanned aerial vehicle response throughout the city except for the no fly zone, becoming the first low altitude unmanned aerial vehicle remote sensing monitoring network in China to achieve full coverage of a super large city. It is reported that this "City Smart Eye" system consists of a low altitude unmanned aerial vehicle monitoring network, cloud control platform, AI algorithm library, and industry applications. Relying on high-precision low altitude airspace spatiotemporal information grid, it can achieve intelligent airport scheduling, automatic route generation, intelligent obstacle avoidance and other capabilities. It supports automated flight modes such as "one click direct flight", "relay continuation flight", and "temporary transfer flight". At present, "City Smart Eye" has served 16 government departments in Wuhan and gradually applied to multiple scenarios such as traffic management, ecological environmental protection, forest fire prevention, and urban operation management.
