On September 30th, Chuangxin Huilian announced the completion of over 200 million yuan in D2 round financing. This round is led by Xingzheng Investment, with joint investment from Deyang Economic Development Chuangyuan Fund, Changsha Chengfa Fund, and Chengdu Jinniu Jiaozi Fund, and additional investment from old shareholder Guangxi Guixin. The raised funds will be used for the large-scale shipment of multiple products such as satellite direct connection chips and integrated terminal chips, as well as product iteration and pre research for 6G. The founder of the company, Ni Haifeng, graduated with a master's degree from the Department of Radio Engineering (Mobile Communication and baseband chip direction) at Southeast University, and previously worked as Vice General Manager at ZTE Microelectronics. It is reported that the low earth orbit satellite direct connection baseband chip "Firefly 200" has been shipped in small batches in 2025. It is a narrowband SDR single chip based on RISC-V core, which can support ground terminals to directly connect to China's mainstream low earth orbit satellite networks, including but not limited to China's satellite network GW constellation, multiple types of low earth orbit constellations based on IoT-NTN standard protocol, and Tiantong high earth orbit satellites. At present, "Firefly 200" has been preliminarily applied in the Internet of Things industries such as emergency safety, water conservancy geological monitoring, power grid information monitoring, vehicle and vessel positioning management, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery, and is expected to expand to personal consumer electronics fields such as mobile phones and power banks.
