Yuchen explores and completes the 200 ton full flow liquid oxygen methane rocket engine Dapeng-1 (DP-1) turbopump commissioning and testing test

On September 27th, Yuchen Exploration Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. completed the joint debugging and testing of the turbopump for the 200 ton full flow liquid oxygen methane rocket engine Dapeng-1 (DP-1). At this stage, the overall assembly of the turbine and pump was completed, and the shaft resistance torque test before the turbine pump started to rotate was carried out. The engine turbine pump started to rotate process was verified, and the work efficiency and compatibility of the turbine and pump were tested. This experiment uses deionized water as the medium to simulate the timing of engine start-up and operation, comprehensively verifying the overall system design, turbo pump efficiency, valve matching, and pipeline sealing. This experimental plan has the advantages of low cost and strong repeatability, which is conducive to rapid optimization and iteration in the engine development process.
