On September 10th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and nine other departments issued the "15th Five Year Plan for the Development of Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicle Industry". The plan proposes to deepen the integration and development of automobiles and information communication. Continuously deepen 5G/5G-A (enhanced version of 5G) network coverage for key cities and some highways, build C-V2X (vehicle networking technology based on cellular mobile communication) directly connected communication roadside equipment, construct a high-low matching, ubiquitous intelligent connection, safe and reliable mobile network system, and enhance network capabilities for serving automotive applications. Expand the ability to adapt to multiple scenarios and enhance the penetration rate of 5G/5G-A and C-V2X direct communication capabilities on the vehicle side. Promote the installation and application of technologies such as direct connected satellites and the Beidou system. Orderly promote the planning and allocation of dedicated vehicle networking numbers, as well as the supply of radio frequency resources. Optimize the deployment of multi type computing infrastructure and accelerate the scheduling and sharing of heterogeneous computing power. Promote the coordinated development of intelligent connected new energy vehicles and connected infrastructure, and promote the application of IPv6 (Internet Protocol Version 6) technology.
