Musk reportedly adjusts SpaceX data center team, with several executives in rocket and satellite business transferring positions

On September 1, it was reported that Musk recently adjusted the team responsible for the construction of the SpaceX data center, and several former rocket and satellite Internet business executives joined the AI infrastructure team. At the time of this adjustment, SpaceX's data centers located in Tennessee and Mississippi in the United States are facing civil engineering issues and ongoing reliability problems. According to reports, Wesley Sarando, former Vice President of Rocket Production for SpaceX's Falcon and Dragon spacecraft, and Logan McConnell, Product Support Operations Manager for Starbase launch site, have joined the AI infrastructure team. In addition, SpaceXAI recently hired an engineer from Neuralink, a brain computer interface company under Musk, to assist with civil engineering work. Jack Palmer, who was responsible for the physical infrastructure of SpaceX AI, and several other data center team leaders have resigned at the end of July.
