The Key Technologies and Scene Verification Laboratory for Space Computing Power has been officially established

On September 11th, at the "Space Computing Innovation and Development" special forum of the 2026 China Computing Power Conference, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology and the Beijing Institute of Space Intelligent Computing officially established the "Space Computing Key Technology and Scenario Verification Laboratory" at the forum. This is the industry's first laboratory focusing on space computing key technology and multi scenario integrated verification. The laboratory mainly focuses on four aspects of construction, including joint research and development of cutting-edge common key technologies such as anti radiation spaceborne AI chips, inter satellite high-speed communication, and distributed resource collaborative scheduling; Establish a ground verification test site with "one center, two modules, four stations, and one base" to carry out space computing power pilot and engineering verification experiments; Promote the landing verification of multi domain typical scenarios in the direction of space situational awareness, space-based assisted intelligent driving, meteorological forecasting and early warning, etc; Develop relevant standards and specifications, output testing tool sets and public technical achievements, and coordinate the construction of a standard evaluation system.
