Zhang Guangming pointed out that Haidian is the core area of Beijing (Beijing Tianjin Hebei) International Science and Technology Innovation Center, with a regional GDP of nearly 1.37 trillion yuan by 2025; Gathering 265 listed companies, 54 unicorn companies, and nearly 10000 high-tech enterprises; We have 2 national laboratories, 92 national key laboratories, 96 national research institutions, and 692 academicians.
During the 15th Five Year Plan period, Haidian will continue to play a leading role in artificial intelligence, accelerate the growth of strategic emerging industries such as commercial aerospace and integrated circuits, and proactively layout new industrial tracks such as quantum technology and brain computer interfaces, focusing on building a "1+X+1" modern industrial system. Among them, commercial aerospace has formed a full industry chain ecosystem covering satellite research and development, constellation operation, measurement and control services, and satellite applications, gathering more than 200 commercial aerospace enterprises and institutions, and 10 listed companies; Approximately one out of every three commercial satellites in orbit in China is launched from Haidian; More than 60% of the chief engineers and chief designers of satellite models in China are located in Haidian. At the same time, Haidian is promoting the "Five Directions and Six Forces" working mechanism, establishing a 30 billion yuan science and technology growth fund and a science and technology achievement transformation fund, building a public testing service platform, and creating a Beijing satellite town to meet the full chain needs of commercial aerospace from technological innovation to pilot testing and certification to industrial agglomeration.
