It has achieved four landmark results for dual star "200 kilometer tracking, 180 degree phase locking, 200 meter pipeline capture, and 500 meter orbit formation", with an orbit control accuracy of 99.9%. The overall task was completed 5 days ahead of schedule, setting a new record for the difficulty of SAR dual star formation measurement, operation, and control in China's commercial aerospace industry. This mission is currently an advanced "dual star formation flying around+two sets of four-star coordination" project in the commercial aerospace field. During the launch into orbit phase, the company relies on measurement and control stations in Tongchuan, Lijiang, and Southeast Asia to achieve seamless relay tracking throughout the entire arc, accurately sending key instructions for entering orbit, ensuring that two high-value SAR satellites enter the predetermined orbit on time, stably, and safely, demonstrating the unique full process guarantee capability of leading commercial measurement and operation control enterprises.
Phase 1 orbit control: 3-day intensive orbit control, building a 200 kilometer following flight configuration
After entering orbit, Xingyi Space will continuously implement multiple batches of high-precision orbit control within 3 days, successfully completing the first phase of the following flight control task. The team overcame multiple constraints such as orbit freezing, binary star spacing, and phase drift, successfully sending the binary star into a sun synchronous freezing orbit, accurately establishing a stable following flight state at a distance of 200 kilometers, and initiating 180 ° phase drift control with Gaojing-2 03/04 satellites, fully meeting the orbit requirements for load testing and remote sensing applications, and laying the foundation for a four-star network in the shortest possible time.

Second stage orbit control: precise braking of floating stars, achieving perfect 180 ° phase locking
On April 6th, Xingyi Space launched the second phase of floating star braking and phase capture control, which lasted for two days of efficient tackling. Through multiple batches of precise control within the orbital plane, the strict 180 ° phase locking of the 05/06 and 03/04 satellites of the Four Dimensional Gaojing 2 spacecraft has been successfully achieved, while accurately maintaining the dual star 200 kilometer follow-up configuration, providing optimal orbital conditions for SAR payload function testing. This marks the first time that China's commercial aerospace industry has achieved engineering operation of "four satellites in two groups, paired formations, and phase coordination".


Third stage orbit control: 7-day hardcore attack, 100 meter circumnavigation creates new heights in the industry
From April 14th to 20th, Xingyi Space will face the most difficult and technically complex third stage pipeline and formation initialization control task. Faced with a series of industry-leading challenges such as multi constraint coupling, in-plane and out of plane control intersection, dual star collision safety, high-density orbit control, etc., the team adopted the core strategy of "the main star enters the pipeline first, the auxiliary star synchronously approaches, and then establishes a flying configuration", relying on short arc precision orbit determination, autonomous high-precision orbit control algorithms, and ground station network full arc support. In just 7 days, more than 20 orbit controls were implemented, successfully ending 5 days ahead of the original plan!

In the end, the main star (05 star) accurately entered the strict return orbit pipeline with a radius of 200 meters, while the auxiliary star (06 star) stably formed an elliptical formation with a radius of less than 500 meters around the main star, maintaining a 180 ° phase lock between the binary star and 03/04 star throughout the entire process. The overall control accuracy is as high as 99.9%, creating a new height in space manipulation for China's commercial aerospace SAR dual star formation!! At present, Double Star has launched autonomous flight maintenance and autonomous pipeline maintenance, officially entering a long-term stable, efficient and reliable business operation mode.
