On May 21st, at the "Intelligent Driving and Tailored Intelligence" forum of the "Global Spatio Temporal Intelligence Expo" (WGDC2026), Li Zhanbin, founder and CEO of Xingcan Intelligent Robotics, gave a keynote speech.

He stated that the development of embodied intelligence should start from specific specialized scenarios such as airports, hospitals, and homes. Locking general conceptual things onto a specific problem is the only way to land faster and easier. For example, his founded Xingcan Intelligent Enterprise uses smart wheelchairs to enter the "low-speed mobile embodied intelligence" and builds the first type of large-scale data entrance for embodied intelligence with smart wheelchairs.

In his view, some of the methodologies in the field of autonomous driving can be transferred to embodied intelligence applications, but there are significant differences in the scenario attributes, interaction logic, and data dimensions between the two. "Intelligent driving is a standardized scenario, while embodied intelligence is an unstructured scenario. In addition, the way of interacting with humans has undergone fundamental changes. Autonomous driving is collision avoidance, while embodied intelligence is collision affinity, and it is necessary to interact and collide with this goal itself

At the event, Li Zhanbin stated that with policy driven and AI technology changes, elderly care robots will be implemented on a large scale in household scenarios within 3-5 years. According to him, the first generation of Xingcan's travel companion robot will debut in November 2025 and is expected to achieve mass delivery in Q4 2026. Unlike previous car manufacturing, the overall strategy of the new product is more inclined towards consumer electronics
