On July 7, 2026, at the AI for Good Global Summit held in Geneva, Switzerland, the "Satellite Design Open Source Platform for Artificial Intelligence Satellite Constellation" submitted by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation was successfully selected for the "AI for Good Innovation for Impact Report 2026" and became the only Chinese enterprise in the field of space computing and environmental intelligence to be selected as the world's best case, fully reflecting the recognition of China's space AI innovation practices by the United Nations specialized agency, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).


The AI for Good Global Summit is jointly organized by ITU and over 50 United Nations agencies. It is one of the most influential international cooperation platforms in the field of artificial intelligence, dedicated to promoting AI services for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In 2026, the AI for Good Innovation for Impact Report project collected a total of 489 AI application cases from around the world, and ultimately selected more than 50 of the world's best cases, covering 9 key areas such as AI agents, embodied intelligence, generative artificial intelligence, and space computing, showcasing the latest practices in global AI innovation applications.
Guoxing Aerospace's selection of cases this time focuses on industry pain points such as long research and development cycles, high development costs, and software and hardware coupling in commercial aerospace. It innovatively builds an open source platform for satellite design for artificial intelligence satellite constellations, promotes the standardization, intelligence, and industrialization of satellite research and development, provides a new technological path for the construction of space computing infrastructure, and contributes to the open sharing and sustainable development of global space intelligence technology with Chinese solutions.

In addition, the Guoxing Aerospace team won a bronze award at the "Space Intelligence Empowering Resilient Cities" track of the 2026 ITU Artificial Intelligence and Space Computing Challenge held at the same time.
