On November 5th, at the 7th Xiaopeng Technology Day, Xiaopeng's new generation of humanoid robot IRON made its debut on stage, stepping on cat steps.
Xiaopeng Motors Chairman He Xiaopeng stated that the new generation of IRON is the most anthropomorphic humanoid robot, with a "skeleton muscle skin" structure: a humanoid spine, biomimetic muscles, fully wrapped flexible skin, 3D curved head display, biomimetic agile shoulders, and a nimble hand with 22 degrees of freedom.
IRON has 3 Turing AI chips with a computing power of 2250TOPS, outstanding performance, and can achieve advanced intelligence such as dialogue, walking, and interaction. It is also the first to be equipped with all solid state batteries, which are extremely lightweight and safe.
This robot is equipped with Xiaopeng's self-developed physical world model system, which integrates the three core capabilities of VLT, VLA, and VLM to achieve real-time perception, understanding, and feedback of the environment.
He Xiaopeng introduced that Xiaopeng's new generation IRON will first enter commercial scenarios to provide services, such as museums, 4S stores, and shopping malls.
At the press conference, Xiaopeng announced that it will collaborate with Baosteel on robotics. In the near future, IRON will settle in Baosteel to explore application scenarios and iterate evolution in complex industrial fields such as inspection. At the same time, Xiaopeng IRON will open its SDK and jointly build a humanoid robot application ecosystem with global developers.
