Recently, Beijing Aerospace Propulsion Technology Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement with the Hohhot Aerospace Economic Development Zone Management Committee, focusing on the research and production of reusable liquid rocket engines, and building an intelligent manufacturing base for aerospace power in the Aerospace Development Zone. The total planned investment for the project is 1 billion yuan. The standard factory building in the Aerospace Development Zone will be rented, and the overall construction of the Aerospace Power Intelligent Manufacturing Center and Fluid Testing Center will be carried out. It is planned to produce 200 liquid rocket engines annually, which will be implemented in two phases. The first phase will have a total investment of 300 million yuan, and an annual production line for 50 liquid rocket engines and a Aerospace Power Fluid Testing Center will be built. The entire investment plan is to be completed within 3 years. This project is the second commercial aerospace project introduced and implemented by Hangkai District after the exploration of Xingtu. It is of great significance for Hohhot to cultivate and develop liquid rocket engines, build a rocket power production base, and promote the development of the aerospace industry.
