The thermal test of the scaled thrust chamber for the 200 ton engine of Huosheng Aerospace has been successful

On November 20th, the private aerospace company Huosheng Aerospace announced the successful completion of its first hot test of its self-developed 200 ton full flow afterburning cycle liquid oxygen methane engine's scaled thrust chamber. The experiment was ignited 14 times with a cumulative duration of 60 seconds, with a maximum duration of 10 seconds per ignition, verifying the injector design, combustion stability, and reliability of the 3D printed combustion chamber. This engine will be used for the reusable launch vehicle "Qitian-1". Huosheng Aerospace was established in November 2024 and is located in Beijing. It has completed multiple key technology verifications and financing, and is accelerating the development of high thrust engines and the construction of intelligent manufacturing bases.
