On September 11th, Peng Haomin, co-founder and vice president of Dongfang Space (Shandong) Technology Co., Ltd., stated at a press conference organized by the Shandong Provincial News Office that the design of the "Gravity II" large liquid oxygen kerosene rocket has been completed and is expected to have maiden flight conditions by the end of 2025. It has the characteristics of high carrying capacity and high cost-effectiveness. Peng Haomin introduced that compared to "Gravity 1", the carrying capacity of "Gravity 2" has been further increased to 15 tons (500 kilometers in a sun synchronous orbit), which can carry 30 satellites weighing 500 kilograms into space. At the same time, the cost has been further reduced to SpaceX's level, with a payload of as low as 20000 yuan per kilogram.
