Wenyuan Zhixing launches pure unmanned Robotaxi trial operation in Abu Dhabi

On May 16th, Wenyuan Zhixing WeRide announced the launch of a pure unmanned Robotaxi trial operation in Abu Dhabi, creating the first pure unmanned Robotaxi fleet in the Middle East region. Starting from the second quarter of 2025, Wenyuan Zhixing's Robotaxi fleet will conduct pure unmanned trial operations on public roads in Abu Dhabi without safety personnel. At the same time, the service scope of Wenyuan Zhixing Robotaxi in Abu Dhabi has been further expanded, adding high demand areas for travel in Abu Dhabi such as Al Maryah Island and Al Reem Island.
