The low-temperature static test of the first stage methane tank of the Star Honor SQX-3 carrier rocket has been successfully completed

On July 12th, the SQX-3 first stage liquid methane storage tank, independently designed and produced by Star Glory Aerospace Technology Group Co., Ltd., successfully completed the low-temperature static test. The storage tank has a diameter of 4.2 meters and a length of approximately 17 meters. It is manufactured using the new generation friction stir welding production line built by Star Glory and is a new generation of reusable low-temperature liquid methane storage tank.
