On July 23rd, it was reported that SenseTime Technology will establish an independent embodied intelligence company, and the core team has been initially established, including visual technology experts such as Wang Xiaogang and Tao Dacheng, who are currently recruiting in the industry. Wang Xiaogang and Tao Dacheng both received their master's degrees from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and studied under Tang Xiaoou, the founder of SenseTime.
Prior to this, SenseTime had already begun laying out its presence in the field of embodied intelligence. In April of this year, SenseTime showcased its embodied intelligence achievement based on SenseCore 2.0 training for large devices at the 2025 Technology Exchange Day - the "dual machine collaboration" procurement scenario for AI supermarkets. At the event, SenseTime also reached strategic cooperation with two robot companies, Fu Liye and Songying Technology.
Business personnel from SenseTime's large equipment business group revealed at the time that from 2024 to this year, there has been a significant increase in the number of incremental customers in the field of embodied intelligent robots; Ecological cooperation to provide model capabilities for robot ontology enterprise training has become an important positioning of SenseTime. Its full process AI research and development system can support parallel simulation training for thousands of machines through an end-to-end one-stop platform, providing closed-loop support for embodied intelligence from development to verification.
It is reported that during this year's WAIC period, SenseTime will also release the RiRiXin 6.5 model and embodied intelligent platform. In addition, SenseTime has also led the investment in the Angel Wheel series of Zhongqing Robotics and is continuing to participate in its Pre-A round this year.
