On October 24th, the separation test of the Tianlong-3 large liquid carrier rocket "One Rocket 36 Stars" was successfully completed at the Tianbing Technology Zhangjiagang Intelligent Manufacturing Base. This experiment is the first time in China to achieve synchronous separation of 36 satellites, setting a record for the largest number of satellites in domestic application scenarios. It marks an important breakthrough in China's commercial aerospace industry in multi satellite deployment and large capacity delivery capabilities.
This scheme adopts a memory alloy unlocking mechanism, which fully executes a series of key actions such as pre tension release, unlocking separation, and mechanism locking in the experiment, fully verifying the correctness and reliability of the separation system design. It achieves comprehensive improvement in safety, testability, and impact control, reducing impact strength by 90%, weight by 60%, zero emissions and no pollution, and the cost is only 30% of the traditional scheme.
The successful separation test of "one rocket, 36 satellites" further systematically verified the mass launch capability and large-scale delivery capability of the Tianlong-3 high-capacity liquid rocket. As the first large liquid rocket in China's commercial aerospace industry with a near Earth orbit capacity exceeding 20 tons, Tianlong-3 integrates more than 50 key core technologies, of which more than 30 are being applied for the first time. The key breakthrough of the star rocket separation system this time will work together with other innovative technologies to support Tianlong-3 in achieving international first-class standards in reliability and cost, providing reliable, efficient, and low-cost launch services for low orbit constellation networking tasks, and helping accelerate China's space infrastructure construction.
At present, Tianbing Technology has built a full chain layout covering rocket self research, scale manufacturing and exclusive launch stations, forming an aerospace intelligent manufacturing and launch system with Beijing, Xi'an, Gongyi, Suzhou, Jiuquan, etc. as the core. It initially has the manufacturing capacity to produce 30 Tianlong 3 rockets and 500 Tianhuo series engines annually, and plans to carry out the first flight mission of Tianlong 3 by the end of 2025, gradually support more than 60 high-frequency launch missions every year in the future, and provide key transport capacity guarantee for the construction of new satellite Internet infrastructure in China.
