On August 26th, the Office of the Leading Group for the Construction of a Strong Manufacturing Province in Hubei Province officially issued the "Implementation Plan for Further Promoting the Transformation and Development of the Textile Industry (2025-2027)".
By the end of 2027, the scale of the textile industry in Hubei Province will reach 300 billion yuan; Cultivate one hundred billion level textile and clothing industry cluster in the Jianghan Plain, one hundred billion level textile and clothing e-commerce base, and three national level textile and clothing characteristic industry clusters.
According to the plan, Hubei will support the digital transformation of the clothing industry, strengthen the application of digital technologies such as VR and AR, develop a direct connection model between consumers and factories, promote the construction of flexible production lines, and make "on-demand ordering and production" a reality. Layout and construct an e-commerce matrix of "Tianmen Live E-commerce+Hankou North Cross border E-commerce+Hanzheng Street Metaverse Marketing", support the development of a new model of "social e-commerce+private domain marketing" for enterprises, radiate and drive the improvement of the province's textile and clothing e-commerce capabilities, and create a comprehensive digital marketing network.
In the field of creative design, Hubei will also rely on the creative platform resources of Wuhan Design Capital to build a cloud creative system, allowing designers in Wuhan to "co create in the cloud" with domestic and foreign fashion creative centers such as Paris, Milan, and Shanghai. Create a "New Han Style" fashion and creative incubation center, encourage enterprises to integrate traditional skills such as Han embroidery and Huangmei picking into AI trend prediction and digital design, and build a fashion and creative design ecosystem with Hubei characteristics, global influence, and contemporary features.
Previously, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and six other departments jointly issued the "Implementation Plan for Digital Transformation of Textile Industry". By 2027, the basic support capacity for digital transformation will be further improved, and new models and formats will continue to emerge, effectively promoting the high-quality development of the industry. More than 70% of the key business processes of textile enterprises above designated size have been fully digitized, creating over 150 typical digital transformation scenarios, over 60 benchmark digital transformation enterprises, and 30 typical digital transformation clusters/parks. More than 200 digital transformation typical solutions with strong demonstration effects and easy replication and promotion have been cultivated and promoted.
