Accelerate the transformation of achievements of new research and development institutions and platforms such as Dalian University of Technology's Artificial Intelligence Research Institute. Relying on the Dalian Artificial Intelligence Computing Center in Jinpu New Area, we will strengthen simulation and computing services for industrial enterprises, and continuously enhance the level of the national level new generation artificial intelligence open innovation platform. Continuously carry out key technological breakthroughs in cutting-edge fields such as virtual reality and digital twins.
Developing the synthetic data industry for metaverse, robot training, and other fields. Encourage high-tech enterprises in the data field to explore a number of deeply empowered and valuable data products for diversified data application scenarios such as industrial manufacturing, commercial circulation, and green low-carbon. Relying on big data parks such as Dalian Shugu and Hualu (Dalian) Data Lake, develop data storage, analysis, cleaning and other data service functions.
At the same time, we will implement six major actions: focusing on digital empowerment, promoting the integration of the two industries, cultivating and strengthening market entities, enhancing platform carriers, shaping service standards and brands, and improving radiation capabilities.
In recent years, Dalian has continuously optimized and improved the development mechanism of the service industry. Among them, the "Dalian Industrial Metaverse Innovation and Development Three Year Action Plan (2023-2025)", as the first special policy plan related to metaverse in Northeast China, has attracted much attention. The plan proposes that by 2025, Dalian will construct more than 30 typical application scenario projects, promote the integrated development of metaverse and industrial manufacturing, and cultivate more than 30 key enterprises in the industrial metaverse field, gradually building a full industry chain covering hardware, software, content, and applications.
It is worth mentioning that in June of this year, Dalian's first outdoor large-scale mixed reality (MR) experience project, "Dreaming of Xinghai", was officially launched at the Chenxi ACX Xinghai Art Center. This project relies on the outdoor space of Dalian Xinghai ACX Art Center and uses mixed reality technology to achieve seamless integration of real trails and virtual underwater worlds in an outdoor area of over 500 square meters.
In addition, Dalian's first independently developed virtual reality immersive movie theater, the flagship store of Niwan VR Theater, has also opened in Donggang, Zhongshan District.
