Tianjin: Establishing a Low altitude Meteorological Support Center to provide meteorological services in the low altitude field

On December 8th, the Tianjin Low altitude Meteorological Support Center, jointly promoted by the Tianjin Meteorological Bureau, Civil Aviation University of China, and Ninghe District Government, was officially established in Ninghe District. The guarantee center has innovatively established a multi-party co construction model of "meteorological department+scientific research institutions+higher education institutions+market entities". The Support Center will continuously optimize the functions of the low altitude meteorological service platform in Ninghe District through the analysis and application of multi-source observation data, improve the "hundred meter and minute level" resolution forecasting products, construct a disaster risk map covering low altitude three-dimensional wind fields, turbulence, wind shear, etc., and achieve precise monitoring, accurate forecasting, and fine services for high impact weather.
