Volkswagen passenger car personnel adjustment: Qi Zekai will be appointed as CEO of the China region, and Meng Xia will return to Germany to take up the position

On June 11th, Volkswagen announced that starting from July 1st, 2025, Qi Zekai will replace Meng Xia as the CEO of Volkswagen's passenger car brand in China and Executive Vice President of Volkswagen Group (China), responsible for managing the core brand's China business. He will take over the position of Meng Xia, who will serve as the Chairman of the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Management Board in Hanover starting from the same day.
