On July 15th, it was reported that WM Motor has recently received good news of resuming work. Recently, a former employee of WM Motor sent him a white paper on "New WM Motor" to suppliers. The white paper points out that Shenzhen Xiangfei Automobile Sales Company (hereinafter referred to as "Xiangfei"), the investor of New WM Motor, has disclosed in detail WM Motor's resumption of production plan and future development. As an investor, Xiangfei Company stated in the above-mentioned documents that according to the restructuring plan approved by the court on April 3, 2025, Xiangfei has taken over Weima Fourth Company and is making every effort to promote the rapid resumption of mass production of Weima EX5 and E5 models at the Wenzhou base.
New WM Motor has formulated a three-step 2025-2030 business development plan, including the revival stage (2025~2026): resuming production of EX5/E.5 models in September 2025, ensuring annual production and sales of 10000 units, and striving to achieve production and sales of 20000 units; At the same time, breaking through overseas barriers, establishing KD factories in Thailand, and expanding into Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern markets. Mass production of 100000 units by 2026. Starting from 2027, New WM Motor will enter the development stage (2027-2028), aiming to achieve an annual sales increase of 250000 to over 400000 units; At the same time, advanced assisted driving models will be mass-produced, empowering the entire chain of research and development, production, and marketing through AI, and IPO preparations will be initiated at this stage. From 2029 to 2030, New WM Motor plans to enter a leapfrog stage, with a production challenge of 1 million units and a revenue of 120 billion yuan by 2030. It aims to build a smart travel ecosystem and become a new benchmark in the industry.
In addition, through equity penetration, it was found that Shenzhen Xiangfei Corporation is not only the actual controller of Baoneng Automobile's subsidiary, but its affiliated parties also hold equity in Baoneng affiliated enterprises. According to reports, the previously rumored acquisition of WM Motor by Baoneng Motors is highly likely to be true. But Baoneng is currently in debt of billions, and many former WM Motor employees are skeptical about this.
