On June 24th, Tencent officially announced that Wang Huixing has been promoted to Vice President of Tencent, responsible for overseeing Tencent Cloud Product Department 2, Cloud Product Department 4, Cloud Product Technical Support Department, Cloud Technology Operation Service Department, as well as Tencent Cloud Security. The dotted line is in charge of Cloud Product Department 1 and reports directly to Tang Daosheng.
The promotion of Wang Huixing has been rumored within Tencent Cloud for a long time, as he is a senior member of Tencent and joined the company in 2004. In the early days, he was one of the important designers in the massive technical architecture construction of social platforms such as Tencent QQ and QQ Space, which helped Tencent establish its social dominance. Later, he was fully responsible for the Tencent Cloud R&D team. We have built the main basic product system of cloud from scratch, continuously optimized the performance of cloud basic products, and polished industry-leading reputation products such as TDSQL and TRTC, forging a professional, efficient, and continuously evolving cloud production research team.
