On May 21st, the 9th Silk Road International Expo was held in Xi'an. At the low altitude economy exhibition site, the Shaanxi Provincial Bureau of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation, as a member unit of the provincial low altitude economy special team, released the "Low altitude Economy Spatiotemporal Basic Platform - Shaanxi Province Geospatial Big Data Comprehensive Service Platform 2025 Edition" and opened it to the whole society for use. Xu Kaiming, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of Shaanxi Surveying and Mapping Geographic Information Bureau, and Chen Xiangyang, member of the Party Group, Deputy Director, and First level Inspector, attended the press conference.
The 2025 version of the Shaanxi Province Geospatial Big Data Comprehensive Service Platform, released this time, mainly includes three application systems: the "Sanqin Image" real-life 3D Shaanxi platform, the Beidou Navigation Location Service Platform, and the Satellite Remote Sensing Data Service Platform. Relying on spatiotemporal information technologies such as remote sensing, positioning, and real-life 3D, it achieves "precise perception" and "dynamic control" of the low altitude world, providing the core driving force for building a "sky city" of low altitude economy.
Sanqin Image, Building a Low altitude Economic Digital Space
The "Sanqin Image" real-life 3D Shaanxi platform integrates multiple sources, scales, and types of real-life 3D data from across the province, forming a unified 3D spatiotemporal data base for the province. It creates a precise digital space for the low altitude economy, achieving the standardization, measurability, computability, management, and usability of low altitude elements. Among them, low altitude full element digitization achieves digital modeling, grid management, and visual presentation of all spatial elements such as terrain and landforms, surface buildings, low altitude aircraft, and meteorology; Low altitude airspace auxiliary planning, through the combination of "physical airspace virtual model intelligent algorithm", achieves intelligent and automated planning of low altitude airspace and flight routes; Low altitude flight safety assurance, by obtaining real-time position information of low altitude aircraft, analyzing the operational status of aircraft in real time, predicting potential path conflicts, and ensuring the safe operation of aircraft in compliant airspace.
Beidou Skynet, Leading the Low Altitude Economy towards Stable and Far Range Development
The Beidou Navigation Location Service Platform in Shaanxi Province enhances navigation and positioning services through satellite ground interconnection, achieving centimeter to millimeter level positioning accuracy and providing strong support and safety guarantees for low altitude flights. At present, Shaanxi has joined forces with neighboring provinces such as Gansu, Ningxia, and Shanxi to build a high-precision Beidou "one network" - the "Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia Jin Beidou high-precision positioning service platform", achieving cross provincial collaborative location enhancement services. This platform can achieve three major functions: high-precision positioning support for aircraft, intelligent navigation collaborative services, and comprehensive intelligent monitoring. Among them, high-precision positioning guarantee will provide accurate and reliable position, altitude, and speed information, ensuring that the aircraft takes off and lands accurately in complex terrain, flies steadily along the predetermined route, and avoids deviation from the route; Intelligent navigation collaborative services can achieve automatic obstacle avoidance, route planning, and dynamic scheduling of aircraft; Comprehensive intelligent monitoring can support airspace collaborative management, cross regional coordination, and serve relevant departments in intelligent navigation, intelligent inspection, unmanned aerial vehicle flight supervision, and other businesses.
Sky Insight, Depicting the Latest Picture of Low Altitude Economy
The satellite remote sensing data service platform accurately depicts the latest state of the earth's surface by obtaining real-time remote sensing images, providing one-stop image data acquisition, management, distribution, and services. A multi-channel satellite data acquisition system covering more than 60 satellites, including public welfare, commercial, and open source, can query satellite orbit information within a specified time range at any time, achieving coverage of the entire province once every 2 months for images with a resolution better than 2 meters, once every 6 months for images with a resolution better than 1 meter, and real-time access to key areas as needed. This platform can also provide diverse satellite data products such as raw images, orthorectified products, and imaging services.
With the rapid development of low altitude economy, various applications of low altitude economy are rapidly integrating into a wide range of fields such as urban governance, industrial upgrading, livelihood services, emergency relief, and natural resource management. The Provincial Bureau of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation will closely focus on the positioning of "two supports and two services", actively integrate into the development pattern of low altitude economy, further strengthen the construction of new spatiotemporal information infrastructure, continuously improve the supply capacity of surveying and mapping geographic information data elements, provide support for building a low altitude economic ecosystem, deepening scene application demonstration, strengthening key technology research, promoting the standardization of spatiotemporal information construction, etc., and provide more accurate and efficient surveying and mapping geographic information support for cultivating new quality productivity and promoting high-quality development of low altitude economy.
