On December 3rd, the "2025 Spatio Temporal Intelligence and Satellite Remote Sensing Service Seminar" hosted by Taibo Think Tank was successfully held at the Earth Observation and Data Center of the National Space Administration. As the leading initiator of the Commercial Aerospace Innovation Consortium, the Earth Observation and Data Center actively supports member units such as the Tiber Think Tank, and relies on the consortium platform to carry out diversified exchanges and cooperation. This event brought together nearly 40 industry representatives from government departments, research institutes, and leading enterprises. Through theme sharing, report releases, and roundtable dialogues, they delved into the current development status and future path of spatiotemporal intelligence and satellite remote sensing industry.

Liao Chujiang, Secretary General and Researcher of the Science and Technology Committee of the Earth Observation and Data Center of the National Space Administration, pointed out that the current remote sensing satellite industry has not truly achieved market-oriented applications, and the industry's development still faces the core dilemma of "not being able to use, not being able to use well, and not being able to afford". In the future, the center will be committed to promoting the construction of low-cost mega constellations, deeply integrating trusted data space and AI computing power system, and actively exploring differentiated service models for different user groups to promote the formation of a sustainable profit loop in the industry.

Zhang Di, a partner and senior analyst at Taibo Think Tank, said that the transition from remote sensing AI to spatiotemporal intelligence is not a simple technological upgrade, but a paradigm evolution. Its core driving forces include in orbit computing power, multimodal large models, intelligent agent research and development, and space data assetization. The industrial chain has also shifted from a traditional linear chain to a networked ecosystem of "data+algorithm+scenario" linkage. In terms of market size, it is expected that the Chinese market will approach 46 billion yuan by 2025. In terms of application maturity, the field of national defense and security has the fastest iteration, while agriculture, meteorology, and other fields are still in their early stages, with enormous potential for low altitude economy.

Li Mengwei, Vice President of Guanwei Technology, introduced that the company has built a professional large-scale model based on the basic large-scale model and a "queen bee+worker bee" intelligent agent architecture, which effectively solves the core dilemma in the field of geospatial intelligence through human-machine collaboration mode. This technology has been practically validated in multiple fields such as national defense and security, agriculture, etc. In the future, it will promote the deployment of on-board algorithms, advance the evolution of technology from collaborative level to autonomous level, and achieve full coverage of scenarios and value enhancement.

Zhao Wenbo, a researcher at the Earth Observation and Data Center of the National Space Administration, mentioned that in recent years, the commercial aerospace field has been highly active and innovative, becoming a focus of industry attention. Regarding the future development of the remote sensing industry, she proposed that the industry is currently in a critical stage of rapid growth, and it is necessary to focus on clarifying the actual scale of the industry, cultivating a large-scale paid user group, and exploring sustainable application scenarios.

The roundtable discussion session was chaired by Liu Yuzhang, founder and chairman of Taibo Network, and president of Taibo Research Institute. Industry experts including Yan Qin, president of China Academy of Surveying and Mapping Sciences, Li Suju, director of the Satellite Application Department of the National Disaster Reduction Center of the Ministry of Emergency Management, and Wu Fayun, director of the Satellite Forestry Application Center of the Planning Institute of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, and all attending guests discussed how AI can reshape the satellite remote sensing industry from 'technological superposition' to 'paradigm revolution'? ”Conduct in-depth discussions. The guests, based on their own field practices, shared their ideas from multiple dimensions such as technological innovation, market application, policy support, and industry university research collaboration, and formed a broad consensus for the development path of industrial innovation.
