From November 24th to 27th, the annual global geographic information industry event, GeoWorld 2025, was held at the Dubai World Trade Center in the United Arab Emirates. It brought together 669 exhibitors from the fields of surveying, architecture, infrastructure, remote sensing, and over 17000 industry experts and visitors from around the world.

Under the strong support of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce and the guidance of the Geographic Information Innovation and International Exchange Cooperation Branch of the China Geographic Information Industry Association, the organizer Zhejiang Sanbo Exhibition Co., Ltd. jointly organized more than 10 Chinese geographic information enterprises, including Zhejiang Geographic Information Group, Shaanxi Tianrun, and Baolue Technology, to participate in the exhibition. Among them, there are 5 enterprises in Deqing National Geographic Information Service Export Base (Deqing Geographic Information Town) in Zhejiang, China. The participating companies showcased a range of solutions and domestically produced hardware equipment, including real-time 3D modeling, dynamic monitoring of natural resources, intelligent surveying and mapping of urban underground spaces, high-precision positioning of Beidou, AI recognition of unmanned aerial vehicles, cloud computing vehicle monitoring data platforms, and digital human+low altitude monitoring. They also held a promotion event for the Deqing National Geographic Information Service Export Base (Deqing Geographic Information Town) in Zhejiang, China.
The participating technical team conducted multiple immersive on-site demonstrations around products and solutions, attracting a large number of global industry experts and audiences to stop and consult and interact with them through cutting-edge technology and practical solutions. Exhibitors have expressed their intention to fully leverage the international platform advantages of GeoWorld 2025, deeply connect with global market resources and potential partners, showcase the technological strength and localization achievements of China's geographic information industry, and accumulate valuable experience and expand cooperation space for future deep participation in international intelligent construction and major engineering projects.
During the exhibition, the Geographic Information Innovation and Development and International Exchange and Cooperation Branch of China Geographic Information Industry Association actively assisted enterprises in docking with government representatives and enterprise organizations of countries and regions along the "the Belt and Road", such as Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and carried out exchanges and docking with the exhibition organizers. It continued to expand the international cooperation network in the field of geographic information, helped and enabled Chinese geographic information enterprises to go overseas in groups, and constantly promoted the sharing and coordinated development of global geographic information industry resources.
Through this exhibition, Chinese geographic information companies have not only efficiently linked global high-quality industrial resources and expanded international market cooperation channels, but also reached deep consensus with global peers in areas such as mutual recognition of technical standards, joint project development, and sharing of innovative achievements. Chinese geographic information enterprises are demonstrating the core competitiveness of China's geographic information industry on the international stage, supported by hard core technological strength and linked by an open and cooperative attitude, injecting Eastern wisdom into the upgrading and sustainable development of the global geographic information industry.
The exhibition not only showcases the innovative achievements of interdisciplinary integration, but also builds an efficient industry docking platform, injecting sustained momentum into regional industrial synergy and global geographic information resource sharing. The organizer DMG Events is a globally leading international exhibition and conference organizer, founded in 1989 and headquartered in London, UK. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daily Mail and General Trust plc (DMGT). The Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province will sign a 3-year strategic cooperation agreement with DMG Events to effectively expand the circle of friends of Chinese geographic information enterprises and help them expand their markets overseas.
During the exhibition, 15 foreign media outlets including UAE News, United Arab News, Wall Street Journal, World News Times, Asian Hot News, Indian Ocean Business News, etc. promoted the international service capabilities of Chinese enterprises in the field of geographic information technology through various channels, as well as the industrial advantages of Zhejiang National Geographic Information Service Export Base (Deqing Geographic Information Town), which is expected to attract more foreign enterprises to enter the Chinese market and strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Chinese geographic information enterprises.
