Recently, the "Development Plan for Remote Sensing Satellite Applications in Water Resources (2026-2035)" passed the technical review. The Plan aims to fully leverage the strategic, fundamental, and supportive role of the water conservancy remote sensing satellite application system in improving the integrated monitoring and perception system of "sky ground water engineering" and promoting the construction of a digital twin water conservancy system. At the technical review meeting, the expert group unanimously agreed that the "Plan" fully summarizes the current status of water conservancy remote sensing satellite applications, compares new situations and requirements, comprehensively and comprehensively sorts out the application requirements of water conservancy remote sensing satellites, proposes the overall design of water conservancy remote sensing satellite resource system, data system, application system, technological innovation and standard specification system, which is reasonable and feasible, and puts forward suggestions for modification and improvement from the aspects of technological innovation, business application, and key tasks.
