On September 4th, Guangxi Automobile Group announced that its subsidiary Wuling Industry held a kickoff meeting for the low altitude economy project and the unveiling ceremony for the Wuling Liuji Low altitude Economy Business Unit on September 3rd. Guangxi Automobile Group stated that it regards low altitude economy as the core of cultivating new quality productivity, relies on the advantages and technological accumulation of the automotive industry, focuses on four directions: core components of aircraft, low altitude economic infrastructure, lightweight technology, and flying cars, and is committed to building a low altitude economy industry ecology that is technologically advanced and commercially closed-loop.

In addition, the first batch of unmanned aerial vehicle engines and range extender products from Wuling Liuji's Low altitude Economy Division have also been officially unveiled. Wuling Liuji revealed that currently, the power module has completed the manufacturing of multiple prototypes of 15KW, 35KW, and 150KW, and has reached cooperation intentions with multiple customers and successfully completed flight tests. In addition, the establishment of a low altitude economy business unit will enable the research and industrialization of core products such as drone engines, extended range systems, and intelligent aircraft nests.

It should be noted that Wuling Liuji is not equivalent to SAIC GM Wuling, but SAIC GM Wuling is a major customer of Wuling Liuji. According to the official website, Wuling Liuji products are matched with SAIC GM Wuling, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, BAIC Motor Corporation, BAIC Foton, SAIC Maxus, Jianghuai Group, Shandong Shifeng, etc., and have 6 million end customers.
