On August 6th, it was reported that Huawei's HI model may welcome a new partner, and it is still a new force with strong momentum. Recently, well-known automotive blogger "Sun Shaojun 09" revealed during a live broadcast that Leapmotor is in talks with Huawei about cooperation, but it should not have been fully discussed yet. In addition, previously informed sources have also hinted at the cooperation between the two parties.
At present, there are three modes of cooperation between Huawei and car manufacturers. The most basic one is customized technology modules, and Huawei only plays the role of a supplier. The advanced version is the HI mode, which includes multiple brands such as Changan Shenlan and Avita, Dongfeng Blueprint/Mengshi/Yipai, GAC Trumpchi, FAW Audi, etc. The core is intelligent driving+HarmonyOS cockpit, but Huawei does not participate in design, production, manufacturing, marketing and after-sales service. The most advanced one is the HarmonyOS, which is the original Huawei Intelligent Car Selection model. Currently, there are "Five Realms", and in this model, Huawei participates in the entire process of a car from design to after-sales, with a considerable degree of influence.
From the current information, it is highly likely that the cooperation between Zero Run and Huawei will be in HI mode. Because the upward trend of a brand is inevitable, and currently the biggest weakness of Zero Run is its ability to assist in driving. To make up for this weakness, relying on self-developed investment and slow results, seeking strong partners naturally becomes a natural solution. Next, Zero Run will release two flagship models, including a full-size SUV and the first MPV, which is crucial. Nowadays, in the Chinese market, the Huawei Qiankun has the strongest assisted driving capability. However, given that Zero Run and Huawei have not been officially announced yet, it is still unknown whether there will be any new changes in the future.
