According to 36Kr Auto, the assisted driving company Wumo Zhixing incubated by Great Wall Motors is experiencing high-level personnel turmoil, with several middle and senior management personnel leaving recently.

According to informed sources, Chairman Zhang Kai has resigned and his whereabouts are unknown; Senior executives such as Vice President of Technology Ai Rui and Vice President of Product Cai Na have also left the company in April this year.

Xiaomo Zhixing was established in 2019 and was independently incubated by the Forward looking Division of the Great Wall Motors Technology Center for Assisted Driving. From the perspective of equity control, the current major shareholder of Great Wall Motors is Baoding Great Wall Holdings Group, with Wei Jianjun, the chairman of Great Wall Motors, as the actual controller behind it.

The core business of Wumo Zhixing focuses on two areas: passenger car assisted driving and low-speed unmanned driving for end of pipe logistics.

However, some employees have expressed that there has been little progress in commercializing the company's two main businesses. In the passenger car assisted driving business, Wuwei Zhixing only has two model projects for Hyundai, mainly providing functions such as memory driving and parking. It is planned to be delivered in August this year, but "the progress of feature development is slow, and there are still doubts about whether it can be delivered on schedule".

The sales target for low-speed unmanned vehicles this year is only over 50 units. The company neither develops new models nor plans to expand sales, and is basically in a state of clearing inventory. ”An employee revealed.
