On November 14th, Ideal Automobile issued two handling notices regarding the previous batch quality accidents of coolant leakage in some 2024 MEGA vehicles and abnormal noise in the lower arm bushings of some 2025 L series vehicles. Three related reasons have been identified for the batch quality accident of coolant leakage in some 2024 MEGA vehicles:
1、 Insufficient verification of coolant, R&D and operation - material technology personnel are primarily responsible. Therefore, five employees involved in the relevant process, including Li, will be held accountable.
2、 The insufficient verification and leakage risk assessment of the power battery test are mainly the responsibility of personnel related to the vehicle's electric power battery. Therefore, four employees involved in the relevant process, including Mr. Shang, will be held accountable.
3、 Personnel related to R&D operations - R&D quality, quality and safety, service, and other departments have mishandled the risk assessment of coolant leakage and user vehicle disposal, and bear secondary responsibility. Therefore, five employees involved in the relevant process, including Zhou, will be held accountable.
Specifically, direct employees involved in the process will have their contracts terminated, and their direct managers and department heads will face penalties such as annual performance not exceeding I, cancellation of year-end bonuses, and revocation of promotion qualifications.
Regarding the batch quality accident caused by the abnormal noise of the lower arm bushings of some vehicles in the 25 models of the L series due to the dereliction of duty of some employees in the electric intelligent chassis department, the handling results of this incident are hereby reported as follows:
The insufficient verification of the grease test for the lower arm liner of the 25 models in the L series has resulted in a large number of complaints about abnormal noises during vehicle use, seriously affecting the user's driving experience.
According to relevant management content and regulations, accountability measures will be taken for four employees involved in the relevant process, including Cui. Measures such as terminating contracts will be taken for direct employees involved in the process, and annual performance not exceeding I will be imposed on their direct managers and department heads. Year end bonuses and promotion qualifications will be cancelled.
