On November 10th, the first sub meter resolution space camera in the Tianfu High Resolution Beijing Space Camera Assembly Plant successfully passed all acceptance work. The camera completed thermal, mechanical, and other environmental tests, passed laboratory calibration smoothly, and various interface tests. The camera performance indicators met the mission requirements. At the acceptance review meeting, Chen Chao, the chief engineer of Tianfu High Resolution Camera, announced that the sub meter resolution space camera meets the design requirements, passes the review smoothly, and is ready for factory delivery, officially delivering to the customer.

In order to meet the high resolution, miniaturization, and lightweight requirements of space cameras for integrated communication and remote sensing constellations, AI remote sensing constellations, ultra-low orbit remote sensing constellations, and multifunctional remote sensing constellations, high-performance coaxial ultra long focus optical system design is adopted in the design of the camera. TDISCOMS focal plane technology and high-precision temperature control technology have broken through the low noise and high-quality imaging problems of high-sensitivity detectors. Camera isolation design and stray light suppression design have improved camera imaging stability; In terms of materials, the camera adopts specially made high-strength carbon fiber and aluminum based silicon carbide, effectively solving the problems of miniaturization and lightweighting of space cameras. In terms of technology, the space camera adopts titanium alloy 3D printing technology, which has complex forming ability and lightweight optical design can be achieved. The anti irradiation extinction spraying process further improves the ability to suppress stray light. In terms of overall assembly and measurement, the camera adopts gravity free adjustment technology and ultra high precision pixel registration technology to solve the problems of fast and high-precision adjustment. Through multi-dimensional technology, the camera performance is further improved while the weight is only 12Kg

The mass production of Tianfu high-resolution sub meter level space cameras marks a new level of China's commercial space remote sensing capabilities. After mass production, sub meter resolution space cameras can meet the rapid deployment of integrated communication and remote sensing constellations, AI remote sensing constellations, ultra-low orbit remote sensing constellations, and multifunctional remote sensing constellations. Euroconsult, a European consulting firm, pointed out that the total market value of Earth observation data and services in 2024 will be $20 billion (with a five-year compound annual growth rate of 10%), of which the commercial data market for Earth observation alone will reach $3 billion, driven by the use of sub meter resolution data.
