According to rough statistics, dozens of experts in the field of aerospace information, including Gong Peng, Shi Chuang, Shi Peijun, Shi Wenzhong, Zhang Bing, Zhang Liangpei, Wang Mi, Dang Yamin, Jiang Weiping, Hu Zhenqi, Cheng Chengqi, Deng Zhongliang, Xie Jun, Yu Wenxian, Li Manchun, Xu Qiang, Yan Haowen, Liu Yaolin, Zhang Jixian, Zhu Jianjun, Liu Jiping, and Fu Kun, were selected.
The Chinese Academy of Sciences announced that it has confirmed that there are 639 effective candidates for additional election of academicians, including 98 in the Department of Mathematical Physics, 105 in the Department of Chemistry, 125 in the Department of Life Sciences and Medicine, 96 in the Department of Geosciences, 61 in the Department of Information Technology Science, 104 in the Department of Technology Science, and 50 effective candidates in specially recommended fields.
The Chinese Academy of Engineering has announced that 660 experts from various fields of engineering and technology are eligible candidates for the selection of academicians. Among them, there are 68 people in the Department of Mechanical and Transportation Engineering, 68 people in the Department of Information and Electronic Engineering, 71 people in the Department of Chemical, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, 72 people in the Department of Energy and Mining Engineering, 91 people in the Department of Civil, Hydraulic and Architectural Engineering, 73 people in the Department of Environmental and Textile Engineering, 83 people in the Department of Agriculture, 91 people in the Department of Medicine and Health, and 43 valid candidates for special channels.
It is reported that the selection of academicians for the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2025 will officially start on April 25th. In this election, the number of additional members of the CAS Member and CAE Member should not exceed 100.
