On the same day, Ledao Automobile showcased its lightweight technology in a high-profile manner: the 90s generation four-wheel drive version has a curb weight of 2250kg and the four-wheel drive version has 2360kg, which is 200-300kg lighter than its peers; the new generation of lightweight battery packs has a capacity of 85kWh, weighs 440kg, and an energy density of 193.2Wh/kg, leading the industry by 26%. This is the result of NIO's ten-year technological accumulation.
The day before the "poaching" incident, @ Old Tang Ge Tango offered a reward on Weibo for battery weight loss talents, stating that technical experts who can achieve the 80kg weight loss goal will receive at least double the salary and can be directly recommended to Li Xiang. Ideal executives' move not only demonstrates their urgent need for lightweight technology, but also indirectly "certifies" NIO's technological strength.
