Recently, according to job postings on LinkedIn platform, Ideal Auto is recruiting sales vice presidents for seven countries including Mexico City, Kazakhstan Almaty, Saudi Arabia Riyadh, Uzbekistan Tashkent, Spain Madrid, Poland Warsaw, and Israel Tel Aviv. This measure indicates that Ideal Automobile is accelerating its overseas strategy.
On October 31, 2024, Ideal Auto made it clear during the earnings conference call that it will not enter the Western European and North American markets in the short term, but will list the Middle East and Central Asia as the core of its overseas layout. In March of this year, the company revealed that it had made phased progress in the Central Asian and Asia Pacific markets, and planned to further increase resource investment in the Latin American, Middle Eastern, and European markets.
According to the supply chain information, Ideal has set an annual sales target of 700000 vehicles for 2025, of which the proportion of extended range models is about 600000 vehicles. Overseas market sales have been included in the overall plan. It is worth noting that Ideal intends to prioritize the implementation of official sales channels in regions where parallel export models have matured, such as the Middle East and Central Asia. As a comparison, Xiaopeng Motors' overseas sales target for 2024 is about 40000 units.
