Taking the construction of Digital Chongqing as the driving force, upgrading the cockpit of "Smart Business", strengthening the "aggregation and generalization" of consumer big data, planning and promoting a number of digital applications such as "Order+List" warning management for foreign trade, "Yuyue · Smart Housekeeping" and "Yuyue · Vegetable Market". Deepen the construction of Monument to the people's Liberation Chaotianmen National Demonstration Smart Business District, Raffles and other national demonstration smart stores, upgrade the exhibition hall of Monument to the people's Liberation 5G smart pedestrian street, and create a batch of immersive and interactive digital experience new spaces.
Encourage commercial districts, neighborhoods, scenic spots, and other areas to use technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and augmented reality to create new digital consumption scenarios such as cloud shopping, cloud shopping, and cloud experience. Provide services such as intelligent parking, intelligent delivery, intelligent energy conservation, and intelligent security, and enhance smart experiences such as unmanned retail, AR interaction, and virtual fitting mirrors. We will deepen the standardization and smart construction pilot of the vegetable market, upgrade the Internet plus distribution, smart agricultural trade, and smart shopping guide systems, and create a batch of standardized and smart demonstration vegetable markets.
Accelerate the development of cutting-edge digital consumption, promote the deepening application of technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and big data in the consumer field, promote new models such as new retail, cloud shopping, unmanned delivery, and AR interaction, launch urban cute child digital human IP, and create a group of 15 new scenarios for digital consumption that integrate artificial intelligence, metaverse, and blockchain, such as the Magic Power Metaverse.
In recent years, new forms and models of digital consumption, represented by online shopping and live streaming sales, have flourished and become a key driving force for promoting high-quality economic development. The digital consumption infrastructure is the solid foundation for cultivating and strengthening digital consumption.
As one of the first pilot cities in China to cultivate and build an international consumption center city, Chongqing has actively promoted the construction of a digital Chongqing since 2023. In the first half of this year, the total retail sales of consumer goods in Chongqing exceeded 830 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%, and the total volume maintained a growth trend. At the same time, the number of first stores of introduced brands has ranked among the top four in the country, and the number of passengers who have passed the 240 hour transit visa free "Chongqing in Chengdu out" and "Chengdu in Chongqing out" has nearly doubled.

The "Three Year Action Plan for the Development of Computing Economy in Yuzhong District (2025-2027)" released on September 1st clearly states that it will accelerate the construction of the "Yuzhong Universe" virtual and real cultural tourism, and promote the implementation of cultural and tourism metaverse projects such as Huazhi Future's "Youyu Tong Vertical Application Big Model Cultural and Tourism Project". By utilizing artificial intelligence technology, personalized travel recommendations and guidance services are provided to tourists, creating an immersive cultural and tourism experience space with virtual real interaction. In addition, Chongqing has successively issued the "Chongqing 'Artificial Intelligence+' Application Action Plan (2024-2027)" and "Several Policy Measures to Support the Development of the Artificial Intelligence Industry in Chongqing", providing comprehensive support for the development of the artificial intelligence industry from multiple dimensions such as technological innovation, scene construction, and talent introduction. It is expected that the scale of the core and related industries of artificial intelligence in the city will exceed 200 billion yuan.
In the field of intelligent terminals, Chongqing is accelerating the transformation and upgrading of the intelligent terminal industry towards AI direction, focusing on the development of key components such as intelligent chips and sensors, as well as terminal products such as embodied intelligent robots and smartphones. From January to July this year, the production of "Made in Chongqing" AI computers reached 4.06 million units, with a domestic market share of 13%, becoming a "breakthrough point" driving the growth of the city's electronic industry output value.
As of now, Chongqing has promoted the integration of AI technology into the "four sides" and "four chains", successfully creating 10 national level platforms such as the Audiovisual Interaction New Generation Artificial Intelligence Open Innovation Platform, and 16 large data centers such as the Chongqing Artificial Intelligence Innovation Center, attracting a group of leading computing chip and server enterprises such as Xinhong Intelligent Computing to settle in Chongqing.
