Accelerate the construction of a number of digital cultural and tourism complexes with local cultural characteristics. Accelerate the research on technologies such as metaverse, digital humans, and virtual reality, and actively explore emerging formats such as immersive experiences, digital entertainment, esports, and tourism. Utilize immersive and digital methods to activate Qilu culture. Support the introduction of new formats such as immersive performances and digital experiences into cultural industry parks (bases), enriching diverse consumption scenarios.
Introduce diverse formats such as immersive exhibitions, art markets, and small-scale performances, and focus on creating a composite public cultural space that integrates cultural experience, leisure and social activities, and creative consumption.
Cultural and tourism consumption has a significant "multiplier effect" and is an important engine for promoting the expansion of domestic demand and driving economic growth.
In the first half of this year, the cultural and tourism market in Shandong received 410 million tourists and the total tourism revenue exceeded 500 billion yuan, both of which achieved a growth rate of nearly 10%. Entering the summer season, in July alone, Shandong Province received as many as 96.5 million domestic tourists, with domestic tourism revenue reaching 124.21 billion yuan, an increase of 10.3% and 10.6% respectively compared to the same period last year.
