Xiaopai Dream Air SE VR headset released: lightweight design, eye tracking, 4845 yuan

On May 13th, Pimax released the VR headset Dream Air SE, which is priced lower than the Dream Air launched at the end of last year. The new headset features a comfortable wearing design, with a total weight of less than 200g, and is equipped with a fully automatic adaptive headset system. The new machine reservation fee starts at 4845 yuan and is expected to be delivered in the third quarter of this year.

The Xiaopai Dream Air SE is equipped with a Micro OLED display with a monocular resolution of 2560x2560. It uses a Pancake lens and integrates eye tracking function, supporting automatic pupillary distance adjustment and dynamic gaze point rendering. The product highlights are as follows:

It should be noted that this device needs to be connected to a PC through a DisplayPort interface, which is different from the Meta Quest series VR all-in-one devices with built-in SoC.

Xiaopai Dream Air SE offers two versions:

The controller free base station panel version is compatible with Lighthouse base stations, with a pre order price of 4845 yuan;

The SLAM+controller version supports inside out positioning, with a pre order price of 5654 yuan.

The packaging is equipped with a 5-meter DP cable, and the first batch of new products will be delivered in the third quarter of 2025. Refunds can be applied for before the pre order payment is shipped.
