On the morning of May 22nd, at the Commercial Aerospace New Decade Forum of the 2025 Global Spatio Temporal Intelligence Conference (WGDC25), four guests, including Zhang Bei, CEO of Zero Heavy Space, Ma Wenqiang, co-founder and vice president of Xingyun Lianxin, Shi Yaozhong, vice president of Hongqing Technology, and Wang Zijing, general manager of Zhongguancun No.1, conducted in-depth discussions on the "two-way rush of industry and finance", proposing new paths for investment and financing in the commercial aerospace field and the 2.0 era.
Zhang Bei stated that while Zero Heavy Space is embracing the Star Network, it is also striving to achieve large-scale development, and basically achieved a break even point last year. In his view, the long-term development of a company cannot rely solely on external "blood transfusions", but rather on internal considerations of "what to do", "what not to do", and "why".
Ma Wenqiang also stated that the company is actively cooperating with Xingwang. On the one hand, the mass production products of Star Mobile Lianxin have basically landed, with an expected annual scale of 300 units. On the other hand, after the commercial use of core products, the company will gradually open up a second growth curve in low altitude economy, real-time remote sensing and other aspects. Based on their own profitability, he believes that when companies seek external financing, they need to consider what they can bring to the other party and how to integrate with the local industrial chain.
Shi Yaozhong from Hongqing Technology stated that the company's main business focuses on the research and development, production, and manufacturing of satellite whole satellites, as well as the field of whole satellite platforms. The goal is to reduce the overall cost of satellites, improve technical indicators, make the overall technical status of satellite platforms controllable, and control the supply chain. He believes that at the level of company implementation, it is mainly based on the actual needs of the enterprise. For example, when Hongqing Technology is implemented in Xiong'an, it mainly revolves around the leading chain enterprises of central state-owned enterprises, and being close to customers can better serve them and meet their needs.
The unit where Wang Zijing works is a large state-owned industrial park, which belongs to the first level state-owned enterprise Shichuang shareholding project in Haidian District. The commercial aerospace industry has a relatively high concentration and forms a relatively complete industrial chain. With the implementation of the Five Year Plan for Commercial Aerospace in Haidian District, Beijing, the park will further focus on the construction of the "South Arrow North Star" satellite town and continue to strengthen industrial clustering in the commercial aerospace field. When it comes to ecological construction, Wang Zijing believes that there should be a complete and relatively clear industrial planning plan that complies with policy guidance, while also building the infrastructure of the park.
When it comes to the future decade of commercial aerospace, all the guests present unanimously believe that the era of commercial aerospace 2.0 is full of expectations. Zhang Bei believes that it is expected that the cost of rocket launches will significantly decrease in the future, with more and more spacecraft entering space and more imaginative business deployments in space, enabling space and ground to work together. Ma Wenqiang also stated that the industry will no longer be traditional integration, and various commercial aerospace companies will truly integrate their businesses.
